In thinking about and contending with ways to convey what we need to know about ADHD, it has been my pleasure to ruminate on this sublimely intriguing brain-based condition. In the process, I have been reminded about a phrase penned by Alexander Pope: “All our knowledge is ourselves to know.” In reading this work, I hope it challenges you to wrestle with this sort of perspective. To this end, I dedicate this book to all those I’ve met who have ADHD and to my family for allowing me to muddle through its preparation.
