You can push for reforms in our criminal justice system and raise awareness about the problem of sexual assault to everyone you know. The best chance we have for change lies in all of us refusing to be passive participants in rape culture. It is my greatest wish that my students and my children can one day live in a society free from sexual violence. Until that day arrives, I dedicate this book to the people who work tire- lessly to support victims and advocate for change. And to any- one who has experienced sexual violence.
