Dr. Siddiquee teaches courses in economic theory, international trade and finance, development economics, and econometrics. His current research interests include trade and globalization, exchange rates economics, and financial crises. M. Muin Uddin is an associate professor of economics and management at Wells College and a visiting professor of economics at Syracuse University. He received his Ph.D. in economics from Syracuse University in 1989. He also has taught at other institutions, including Oswego State University and Hobart and William Smith colleges. Professor Uddin has worked and researched for several organizations, including the World Bank and USAID. His research and publication interests include government finances and health economics. His manuscript focusing on local government finances has been accepted for publication. He is a recipient of research grants from various national and international organizations. Mahbub Ullah is a professor of economics at the University of Chittagong, Bangladesh. He studied at the University of Dhaka, Boston University, and Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi. He has been teaching in the Department of Economics, University of Chittagong, since 1976. He also worked as a researcher for two years at the Bangladesh Institute of Development Studies, Dhaka. He was also involved in research programs sponsored by IDRC, Canada, Center for Development Research, Copenhagen, and the United Nations University. He received research grants from Ford Foundation, Winrock International, University Grants Commission (Dhaka), Indian Council for Social Science Research, and ICIMOD, Katmandu. He has authored a book and written many research articles and monographs. Three books by him containing writings on contemporary issues on society, politics and economics was published in February 2001. His research interest includes agrarian economics and resource and environmental economics. Ian K. Wilson is the dean ofthe School of Business at the Utah Valley State College (UVSC). He completed his master's degree at the Brigham Young University, Utah, and his Ph.D. at the University of Calgary, Canada. Prior to joining Utah Valley State College, he served as both a member of faculty and an administrator in the capacity of chair ofthe Department of Business Administration and acting dean at Mount Royal College, Canada, for several years. He also taught at Brigham Young University as a visiting professor. He has wide-ranging experience in consulting and industry. Ian enjoys teaching and regularly teaches a course in business and marketing ethics at UVSC. He is married to Jeanne and they have four children. Sajjad Zahir is a professor of decision sciences and information systems at the University of Lethbridge, Canada. Prior to joining the faculty, Sajjad was an assistant professor in information systems and management science at Saint Mary's University in Halifax and held postdoctoral research positions in the universities at Victoria, McGill, and Regina. His current research interests are in expert systems, production and inventory management, applications of the analytic hierarchy process in decision analysis, data mining, Internet technologies, and simulation.
